周四下午，一架直升机坠入哈德逊河，导致1名飞行员在内的机上6人全部死亡。

据悉，机上的5名乘客来自一个西班牙游客家庭，包括2名成人和3名儿童。

纽约市消防局（FDNY）告诉《纽约邮报》，下午3点15分左右，目击者看到直升机在西休斯顿街和西街的40号码头附近坠毁，“一分为二”，救援工作正在进行中。

警方说，事故发生在西侧高速公路和春街附近，提醒周边地区可能会由于大量紧急救援车辆而出现交通延误。

社交媒体上的目击者称，直升机坠毁时发出了“巨大的撞击声”，似乎发生了螺旋桨故障。

官员称，这架直升机现在漂浮在新泽西州边界的哈德逊河上，靠近泽西城附近的荷兰隧道。

官员称，纽约市消防局（FDNY）海陆救援队已抵达现场展开营救。

据联邦航空管理局FAA发布的信息，涉事的是一架贝尔206型直升机，下午3点左右从曼哈顿下城直升机场起飞。
