美国加州99号公路图莱里郡（Tulare County）路段，1月31日早上8时17分许惊传59辆车连环撞，目前传出有多人送医．轻伤和重伤的都有，尚不清楚是否有驾驶或乘客死亡。

据《ABC》报导，图莱里郡消防局表示，浓雾是造成这起连环车祸的原因之一，加州巡警队的冈萨雷斯（Adrian Gonzalez）透露，当地受大雾影响，能见度仅为100至200英尺（约30至60米）。

99号公路事故路段目前仍双向封闭，图莱里郡呼吁民众开车遇到浓雾时，最好减速慢行、增加与前车的距离并保持警惕，避免发生意外。
